The Star City Cameo
Upon opening the second location in Botetourt, Mr. Lyons wanted to create a cameo that would show the beauty of the Roanoke area. He spent many months coming up with a design that would display the most recognizeable landmarks. The final result is the design that you see today. The Star, and the skyline of downtown Roanoke with the Taubman muesum, the Hotel Roanoke and the former Wachovia tower are in the fore front with the steam locomotive train tying them all together.
Petitioning the German craftman that had created the Peaks of Otter cameo, Mr. Lyons once again has shown that the hard work of design has it's reward.
